Verse of the Week

Okay, so I’ve done so many posts tonight, because I’ve had free time. Verse of the Week is where I post a Bible verse and then put a little of my insight with it.

Romans 5:8- “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

This is one of my favorite verses. Other verses in this chapter talk about how people probably wouldn’t die for others, but maybe a really good person. But God showed us amazing love by dying for us when we were His enemies. We sinned against Him, but He loved us so much and wanted to have a relationship with us, so He died to take our punishment and rose back from the dead because Jesus is God. Praise Him for His mercy!
