Verse of the Week

Hello, girls! I read this verse today in my devotions.

Proverbs 5:21-

“For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and He pondereth all his goings.”

(I capitalized the “He” because I always capitalize “He” when it’s talking about God.) So I thought this verse would be a good reminder when we’re tempted to do wrong. If we choose to sin, God sees it, and one day, we must give an account to God for what we’ve done. So, if you remember that God sees what you do, it might help encourage you to do the right thing. I’m sure we all want to do what’s right and want God to be pleased with us. So, even though we can’t see Him, and it’s easy to forget, remember God is everywhere and He sees what you do. I know I want God to be pleased with me!

Blessings, Morgan

    • Yep, that’s what we do as a family. I don’t always read Proverbs on my own, but I am right now. Sometimes, I do other parts of the Bible. Right now, I’m doing Luke and Proverbs.
