Hey, girls! I’m very excited to share my first photostory with you!
“I’m bored,” Lorie said. “Let’s do something.”
“Mmm?” Jaicee said, not looking up from her book.
“Let’s go outside!” Lorie said, as she bundled up. (Ignore the other dolls in the background. Oops!)
Jaicee looked up. “Ugh!” she said. “Don’t you realize that none of those colors go together?”
“Do I look like I care? Now, come on, Jaice, let’s go play in the snow!”
Very reluctantly, Jaicee put on her perfectly matching coat and boots.
The girls stepped out the front door.
“Oh my word!” exclaimed Lorie.
There was hardly any snow left in the front yard.
“Well, there’s hardly any snow. That means we can just go back inside,” Jaicee said.
“What are you talking about? Let’s go play in it!”
Lorie stepped off the porch.
She turned back. “Come on, Jaicee!”
Jaicee sighed and followed.
“Let’s make snow angels!” Lorie said.
“Lorelei,” Jaicee said, disgusted. “Do you not realize how dirty that snow is?!”
“Well, Jaicelynn,” Lorie said, imitating Jaicee’s tone. “If you won’t make snow angels, let’s make a snowman!”
Lorie knelt down and tried to make the bottom of a snowman…
but it didn’t really work.
Lorie’s face fell.
“Hey, I have an idea!” Jaicee said.
She picked up a stick from the ground.
She began drawing something in the snow.
“What are you doing?” Lorie asked.
Jaicee had drawn a snowman!
“Hey, that’s a great idea!” Lorie said.
Lorie grabbed a stick and both girls drew snowmen. (I personally think this picture is really cute!) 🙂
By the time they were done, they had drawn lots of snowmen.
“Girls, time to come in!” Mom called from the front door.
As the girls headed for the house, Jaicee said, “Now that we did what you wanted to do, we can do what I want to do when we go in.”
Oh, no! Lorie thought.
After the girls had gotten their slippers on Lorie played dolls with Jaicee. She didn’t want to, but she thought it would be nice to return the favor.
They played dolls until Mom called them for dinner.
The End
It snowed a few days ago, but it’s mostly melted. But it gave me the inspiration for this story. I hope you enjoyed it!

Wow!!! That’s more snow than we’ve ever gotten where I live! It hasn’t snowed at all in 4 years here! And when it did it just looked like powdered sugar… It melted in about 5 minutes. 😦

Aww, that’s too bad! 😦 We did have a little more, but it melted.

This story made me laugh out loud! It’s something my little sister would have done to me when we were girls!

Thanks! It’s funny, because Lorie’s actually older, she just loves to play outside, but Jaicee would rather stay inside and play dolls or dress up.

That’s sad that there was hardly any snow left! But it looks like they had fun the same!:)

Yep, they did. It wasn’t what they set out to do, but they still had a fun time. 🙂

This was really cute! I personally thought that Lorie’s clashing colors outfit was adorable. And I can totally relate to Jaicee’s reluctance to leave her book.
