I’m Leaving my Blog…

for two weeks! JK, did I scare any of you? I’m going on a trip to visit friends and family and to check out some colleges. I’m going with Nathan and my mom. We’ll be gone for 2 weeks, so I won’t be able to post, but I’m bringing my trusty camera Lucy to take tons of pictures (well, hopefully) for you all! I’m also bringing Kennie and Helena.

With their matching outfits and backpacks, they’re ready to go!

Also, we found out that my mom’s baby is a girl! I just had to post a personal fave of mine of the stuff that Mom’s bought for the baby.

It’s a pink fedora with sparkles! Super adorable!

Also, here are the Verses of the Week, before I go.

Proverbs 8:13- “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the forward mouth, do I hate.”

Pastor was preaching about how we need to fear God and hate what He hates. We should hate sin and stay far from it. A lot of sin stems from pride. We need to be humble and fear the Lord. He is merciful, but there are consequences for the wrong that we do. We should keep this in mind in times of temptation. We should avoid, as the verse says, the evil way of life, and instead, follow God’s way. The things He tells us to do are for our own good. This sermon from tonight came back to me as I did my devotions and found this verse.

Proverbs 22:4- “By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and hounour, and life.”
