Doll Comparisons: Redheads!

Hi, everyone! For anyone who doesn’t know yet, I have a redhead obsession. (Just a small one.) Anyway, I thought it would be super fun to do a comparison with my adorable redheads!

Image may contain: 3 people

Here are my 3 redheaded beauties: Ginerva, Georgiana, and Alissa!

Image may contain: one or more people and child

Each of them have a different shade of red hair: Ginny has a kind of strawberry blonde color, Georgie’s is bright red and Lissie’s is auburn. Ginny has a crooked left side part; the other two have middle parts.

From the back. (Sorry their hair is a little messy.)

All their hair together.

Image may contain: 1 person, closeup

All my redheads also have sort of greenish eyes. Ginny’s are a green-based hazel. Giinny is a GOTY Mia doll.

Image may contain: 1 person

Georgie is a MyAG 61 doll. Georgie’s eyes are a dark green. It’s really hard for it to show up in pictures.

Image may contain: 1 person, closeup

Alissa is a historical Felicity doll. Lissie’s eyes are bright green.

I like Georgie’s shade of hair best and Lissie’s eye color best.

One final pic of my cuties.

Do any of you or your dolls have red hair? Which shade of red do you like best?

New Dolls!

Hey guys! I’ve had an amazingly busy month! I literally spent 7 days at my home in June. But it was awesome. We went out to my pastor’s son’s church and helped with their VBS and then we went to camp. These took up the last 2 weeks of the month. Anywayyy…I’ve gotten a few new dolls since then. Non AG ones, but I want to show you.

The first is

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
Harry James Potter!!! He was a six dollar yard sale find!

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
His knees and elbows bend and he has little plastic shoes.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
He actually looks like Daniel Radcliffe a little bit.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
His glasses are held on with a rubber band.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
Next, we have Nevaeh. She cam in a lot with other dolls my grandma bought for the Etsy shop. She didn’t have clothes, but thankfully, I have some extras. She’s made my Our Generation.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
Sorry her hair looks a bit funny. These dolls also have kinda funny necks.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
Next is Tara. She was also in the same lot and had to be gifted with clothes.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
I like her hair and eye color combination.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
Next is Carolanne. She was given to me by my friend Carolanne in Ireland.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
She’s so photogenic! I love the color of her eyes.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
Next is my fairy, Audria! Every year when I go to the Poconos with my family, I get a porcelain fairy and name it a name that starts and ends with A.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
She’s very pretty, but I feel like she looks like the snobby kind of girl who needs to learn a lesson.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
Pretty wings. 🙂
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
She has a very fancy outfit.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
Her eyes are kind of bluish gray.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
Better view of her eyes.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
And finally, we have Alacia Celandine Parker!!!! She is a Gotz doll that I got at a yard sale for $20!!!! My mom said “You have too many dolls, but the price is really good. So you should give it away.” So I bought her and will take care of her until my little sister, Blair, can have her.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
She has rooted hair, so pigtails are kind of awkward. Her hair also gets tangled easily, but that’s ok.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
She only has a few minor marks.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
Her eyes are gray blue. I might make this her profile picture.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
This is the outfit she came in, only without the wings.

Alacia is Toby’s sister, since they look so much alike and her nickname is Lacie.

Hope you enjoy the post.

New Dolls at Michael’s!

Hey! So, I was at my local Michael’s recently and noticed that they have a new line of dolls! They’re made by the company Creatology, and they’re called Modern Girls. There are four, but only three were at the store.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
This one is my favorite. The name they gave her is Lauren. I think she has the best hair line of all of them.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
This is Zoey. Her skin is slightly darker than Lauren’s.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
Then, we have Kaylee. (Sorry about the glare.)
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
The last doll, Madeline, wasn’t in the store at the time, but there was a picture of her on the backs of the boxes.

They seem a little bit shorter than AG dolls and a bit skinnier too. I think they would be good younger sisters!

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
There was also a pair of ballet slippers.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
And a soccer outfit.
SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
I think these dolls are a lot cuter than the Springfield Collection dolls, but that’s my opinion.

These dolls are about $25 dollars. I’ve seen from a review that they have rooted hair and need to lean forward to stand up. I would probably consider getting the Lauren doll.

What do you think of these dolls?

Answers

Hi!!!!!! Sorry for not posting much. I feel like I say this a lot, but life is busy. We had VBS at my church this past week and it was such a blessing! One of the little boys in my group accepted Jesus as his Savior this week!!!!!!! I am so happy!!! I figured I’d answer y’all’s  questions from my 100th post Q&A.

These questions are from Tenley.

1. Are you more imaginative, or logical?

I’d say I’m more logical. I had a better imagination when I was little.

2. Favorite novel?

Does a series count? If so, Harry Potter!

3. Favorite movie?

Again, do series count? Harry Potter!

4. Least favorite movie?

Hmm, good question. I have to think. I really didn’t like The Manchurian Candidate much, and wouldn’t really recommend it.

5. Favorite post you’ve done?

Probably a photoshoot of Carli.

These are from A Barefoot Gal.

1. Why did you start this blog?

I read some other blogs and thought it would be fun to have my own. I also wanted to use my blog to spread God’s Word.

2. Does anyone you know in real life have a blog?

Yes, but no doll blogs.

3. Have you ever moved?

Yes, but it was to a house in the same general area as my old one.

4. Were you homeschooled all your life?

No, I went to public school from kindergarten to fourth grade.

5. Frozen or Big Hero 6?

Oh my word! Big Hero 6!!!!! I love that movie so much!!!!!! Baymax is your personal healthcare companion!!!!!!! 🙂

6. Would you rather have a house full of cats or one horse?

One horse. I’m not fond of cats.

7. What is the first blog you followed?

I don’t exactly remember. Probably Little House of American Girl, or American Girl Northwest. (Which sadly, is now nonexistent.) 😦

These are from Clara.

1. Do you have anything you collect , other than dolls?

Not really, just doll clothes, but that still kinda dolls. 🙂

2. What is your top favorite children’s book?

Probably A Tale of Two Bad Mice by Beatrix Potter. I always liked it because it had a doll house in it. 🙂

3. What are you wearing right now?

A pink Deathly Hallows shirt I made, black basketball shorts, and neon pink flip flops. The shirt has one of my fave Dumbledore quote on the back. “A true leader does what is right, no matter what others think.”

4. Have you ever travelled out of the country?

Nope.

These are from Jaclynn.

1. What’s something you and your family enjoy doing together?

We like watching movies together.

2. Would you say you are a big Disney fan.

I’m not a huge Disney fan, but I definitely love some of their movies. Big Hero 6, cough cough. 🙂

3. Do you like shopping all day or would you rather stay home?

I love being out and about and seeing people, so I’d go with the shopping all day.

These are from AGcmg.

1. What is your favorite doll eye color?

Felicity’s (Alissa’s) bright green and Caroline’s light aquamarine.

2. When did you become a Christian?

I was told I was when I was little, but I didn’t remember it, and struggled a lot with doubt until I made sure that I was saved at camp in 2013.

3. Favorite Bible story?

Hmm, I’m not sure. Jesus dying and rising again is definitely the best, though!

These are from Sunny.

1. What’s your favorite flower?

I like carnations, roses, and hydrangeas.

2. Dogs or cats?

Dogs!

3. If you had to only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pizza!

4. What dolls are on your wishlist right now?

Hmm, Kaya, either the new Sonali mold doll, or the other Sonali mold doll with straight hair, the new Asian, maybe the one with medium skin and blue eyes, the one with short red hair, green eyes, and freckles, Josefina, Samantha, the MyAG with short brown hair with side bangs. There’s probably more! 😉

5. So far, what do you think of Maryellen Larkin?

Well, I’m not really fond of her name, no offense. She seems kinda cute, but I don’t think I’ll get her. She isn’t unique enough to my collection. I personally would rather they keep Caroline, but then again, I already have her.

Well, that’s all! Hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little better!

Happy Easter!

Hey, people! I’m back! I had a great trip, and I’m glad to be back. I have some news for y’all.SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

I got a new doll! Yeah, I know, I just got four. I’m not usually this spoiled. I had a babysitting job, so I already had some money, and I found this Nicki doll on eBay for $72 because her hair has been chopped and the seller didn’t know what they had, which was lucky for me.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

I got Nicki to look like me, because our hair is practically the same color. I don’t care for her haircut, but we’re going to AGP Tysons Corner on Thursday and my Mommom is lending me the money to get her a new head!

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

A kinda blurry close-up of her face. I have named her Meghann Ariana, the MA after myself (Morgan Ashley), and the Ariana I got from Ariana Dumbledore.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

I also dressed all the dolls up for Easter. They all want to wish you a Happy Resurrection Day! “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” -Matthew 28:6

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Here are close-ups of everyone. Left to right, Bella, Alissa, Toby, Caroline, Georgie, and part of Kendra’s head.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Georgie, Kendra, Ciara, Helena, Chental, Jaicee, and half of Natalie.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Part of Chental, Jaicee, Natalie, Meghann, Carli, Shayne, Chai.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Half of Carli, Shayne, Chai, Ginny, and Lorie.

They’re excited we’re back and that they have a new sister. I’ll post pics from the trip when I have some more time. Got to get to bed. The trip was pretty tiring, (I had a nice long nap today), and I have school tomorrow.

Bye, Morgan

What I Got!

Hey, girls! I went to the AG store in Tysons Corner Virginia today! I didn’t take a billion pictures, like last time, but I still want to show you what I got!

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Here’s me opening…

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

MyAG 44!

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

She is so pretty and her name is Bella Evangeline!

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Since I only opened one doll for the car ride, I did the rest of my opening at home.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

I also got Rebecca! I renamed her Helena Elaine.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

She’s so pretty!!!!

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

The last doll I got was…

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

MyAG 61! She is beautiful! I named her Georgiana Claire, after George Weasley.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Here’s a cute pic Nathan took Georgie and Bella. It looks like a selfie!

I stayed up super late last night to do my school, so most of it would be done for the trip today. After I did the rest of my school, I of course, had to do some photoshooting! My faves of each doll will be their profile pictures for the Meet My Doll Family page. I’m very thankful to my great friends and family who gave me the birthday money to buy these three beautiful new dolls!

Lorie and Jaicee Play in the Snow : A Photostory

Hey, girls! I’m very excited to share my first photostory with you!

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“I’m bored,” Lorie said. “Let’s do something.”

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“Mmm?” Jaicee said, not looking up from her book.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“Let’s go outside!” Lorie said, as she bundled up. (Ignore the other dolls in the background. Oops!)

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Jaicee looked up. “Ugh!” she said. “Don’t you realize that none of those colors go together?”

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“Do I look like I care? Now, come on, Jaice, let’s go play in the snow!”

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Very reluctantly, Jaicee put on her perfectly matching coat and boots.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

The girls stepped out the front door.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“Oh my word!” exclaimed Lorie.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

There was hardly any snow left in the front yard.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“Well, there’s hardly any snow. That means we can just go back inside,” Jaicee said.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“What are you talking about? Let’s go play in it!”

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Lorie stepped off the porch.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

She turned back. “Come on, Jaicee!”

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Jaicee sighed and followed.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“Let’s make snow angels!” Lorie said.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Lorelei,” Jaicee said, disgusted. “Do you not realize how dirty that snow is?!”

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“Well, Jaicelynn,” Lorie said, imitating Jaicee’s tone. “If you won’t make snow angels, let’s make a snowman!”

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Lorie knelt down and tried to make the bottom of a snowman…

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

but it didn’t really work.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Lorie’s face fell.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“Hey, I have an idea!” Jaicee said.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

She picked up a stick from the ground.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

She began drawing something in the snow.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“What are you doing?” Lorie asked.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Jaicee had drawn a snowman!

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“Hey, that’s a great idea!” Lorie said.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Lorie grabbed a stick and both girls drew snowmen. (I personally think this picture is really cute!) 🙂

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

By the time they were done, they had drawn lots of snowmen.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

“Girls, time to come in!” Mom called from the front door.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

As the girls headed for the house, Jaicee said, “Now that we did what you wanted to do, we can do what I want to do when we go in.”

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Oh, no! Lorie thought.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

After the girls had gotten their slippers on Lorie played dolls with Jaicee. She didn’t want to, but she thought it would be nice to return the favor.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

They played dolls until Mom called them for dinner.

The End

It snowed a few days ago, but it’s mostly melted. But it gave me the inspiration for this story. I hope you enjoyed it!
