What I Did Yesterday

Happy Saturday, Girls! I haven’t been taking any marvelous pictures lately, but I figured I’d show you all a bit of what I did yesterday so you had something to read from me.

I got my original bandage off, and now I’ve got this cool pink one. The doctor said I can start walking on it, but not to overdo it, so I’ve been trying to walk a bit.

We watched How to Train Your Dragon. I love that movie!

Of course, Toby had to watch it with me, since he was in his Hiccup costume. 🙂

I like the dot things on this picture. Either it was the light, or my camera lens was dirty.

I also finished making this doll blanket, which will be available on our Etsy shop. Shayne thinks this blanket is super comfy!

Here’s a pic I took of myself. My hair is a super mess! It is soo tangled right now. I guess that’s expected to happen when you don’t do much other than stay on the couch all day.

I used this edit thing which made this picture look really creepy.

Well, that’s all I have for you guys, today. Sorry it isn’t much. I’ll have better stuff when I get back on my feet. Here’s a pun. Toe-tally heel-ing up from this surgery will be quite a feet! LOL!

Verse of the Week and News

Hi, girls. Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days. First we’ll have the verse of the week, then a message from Shayne.

Proverbs 24:16-  “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.”

We’re destined to do wrong things. That’s the truth. We’re human. But the thing is what we do with the sins we commit. When we sin, we should ask God’s forgiveness and the forgiveness of those we have sinned against. We shouldn’t wallow in our sin and guilt. Satan has 2 lies he tries to trick Christians with. The first one is that you can sin once and it won’t hurt you. Then, once you sin, he’ll try to get you to believe that you might as well keep on sinning, because God won’t forgive you and use you now. Neither of these things are true. No matter how much you sin, you can receive forgiveness from God. Just confess it to Him and “get up” again and do right. If you confess your sin, He is faithful and just to forgive you your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9).

Now, a message from Shayne:

As you can tell from this picture, I’m wearing a cast. I’m doing this for sympathy pain for Mom, because she got her bunion surgery today.

Mom’s surgery was successful and she’s doing pretty well. Here’s her foot.

This picture is really random. Mom used a photo edit thing for this pic of Lorie. I personally think it’s pretty cool.

Ok, now back to Mom.

Hey, it’s Morgan again. As Shayne told you, my surgery went well, and my foot only hurts a bit. Thanks to everyone for their prayers. 😀
