Ginny’s Birthday “Snowtoshoot”

Hey, girls! It’s Ginny’s birthday! She’s 10 again! (My dolls’ ages never go up.) So I took my two hazel-eyeds out for a photoshoot in the snow, hence the title. There aren’t a lot of pics, because my fingers were freezing off, but here you go.

They’re so cute! I think it’s funny how Natalie’s boots sank deeper into the snow than Ginny’s did. Also, this fence is around our compost pile, but I thought it would be cute for the photo.

After I moved Ginny, Natalie decided to fall back-first into the snow. Nattie, I was saving the snow angel pictures for last!

I was trying to avoid letting this happen.

I took some individual shots, too.

I put some snow in Ginny’s hair and took several shots of the wind blowing it.

I held her up in this one to catch the wind. (Lovely background, right?)

I think this blue looks very good on her.

There are more individuals of Ginny. It’s her birthday, after all. 😉

I think this is my fave of the whole photoshoot.

I really like this one, too. I love how you can tell the differences between their freckles and different shades of hazel eyes in the natural lighting. Natalie’s eyes have a more gray-brown base, where Ginny’s are more green.

Snow angels!

Dolly footprint next to mine. 🙂

I had to wear Wal-Mart bags around my foot so my surgical shoe didn’t get wet.

And I kept the dolls in this bin until I was ready to use them.

Well, thus ends the photoshoot. Hope you enjoyed. Hop over to the Meet My Dolls page soon to see new profile pics for some of the dolls. 🙂

Have a nice day and stay warm!

  1. I love these pics! 🙂 They’re so darling, and Ginny is gorgeous! You’re right, blue is definitely her color.
Just a quick question: where did you get Natalie’s coat? It’s beautiful and just the style my dollies need. Thanks! 🙂

    • Actually, the red came from Florida, and the blue one is from American Girl. I’m not working on any doll clothes or anything right now. But I will sometime. 🙂

  4. I love it! Ginny and Natalie look beautiful! I love how you can tell their different freckles and eyes too. Congrats on 20 followers! Although, now that I figured out how to follow you, you have 21. 😉 I only have one follower. That may be because I’ve only had my blog for… 38 hours to be exact. 😉 You can check it out if you want.
